Fibromyalgia – Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition that affects over 5 million Americans, especially women between ages 25-60. It is diagnosed from the patient’s history, complaints, and exam. People suffering from fibromyalgia have significant muscle pain but it is often a diagnosis of exclusion since the patient’s x-rays and lab test are usually negative for any pathologies.
Painful Joints – A joint is the connection of two bones. Joints of the body provide structure and allow us to move. When a joint is injured, the joint may move to much creating instability or it can move too little, creating fixations, arthritis, misalignments and a host of other problems.
