Hi. This is Dr. Brandon Nevel with Sport & Spinal Rehab in Jupiter, FL. By now, all of us have heard and seen the destruction that is taking place in Texas due to Hurricane Harvey. As Floridians, this hits very close to home because we have seen and dealt with many hurricanes and seen their aftermath.
For me, this hits especially close to home because I’m a native Texan, from the Houston area, specifically Katy, Texas. Part of Katy is completely under water right now and I will be traveling there in a few weeks and I am afraid to see the destruction that has taken place.
On a positive note, Texas is known as the friendship state. So, I’m asking all my friends, all my colleagues, and all strangers as well to come together during Texas’ time of need.
We want to make sure everyone knows that the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is doing a supply drive starting today, Tuesday August 29, 2017 going through next Wednesday, September 6.
However, I know it may be inconvenient to make it to the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, so we are opening our chiropractic office (Sport & Spinal Rehab) in Jupiter as a donation location.
They are going to need specific supplies for Texas and some of those supplies include:
- Non-perishable food items
- Bottled water
- Blankets
- Diapers
- Underwear and socks
- Toilet paper
- Small bottles of bath essentials (shampoo and body wash)
- Dental hygiene essentials (toothpaste and toothbrushes)
- Animal crates
- Dried animal food
- Baby food and formula
- Flashlight
- Batteries
- Any and all help is so incredibly appreciated.
