Dr. Brandon Nevel, a licensed Jupiter Chiropractor serving the greater Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens communities, is also a certified USPTA professional tennis instructor. Dr. Nevel holds a post-graduate degree in the field of chiropractic sports medicine as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.) and a post-graduate degree in extremities as a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (C.C.E. P.). He is currently working towards a Diplomate in Sports Chiropractic through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). This advanced knowledge of sports and the human body is utilized in the treatment of our patients at Sport & Spinal Rehab.
After playing four years of collegiate tennis at Hendrix College in Arkansas, Dr. Nevel became certified as a USPTA tennis professional. Dr. Nevel has taught tennis to beginner and advanced players throughout the United States. Patients with tennis injuries are often co-managed with their tennis pro in order to achieve the best performance and injury recovery.
Dr. Nevel helps relieve pain naturally with gentle and safe chiropractic and physical therapy treatments. He has helped families and athletes of various backgrounds using safe, non-invasive treatments such as spinal decompression, chiropractic adjustments, the Graston Technique and the Kinesio-Taping Method (tape on the Olympic athletes).
In 2009, Dr. Nevel completed a certification program offered by the Council on Extremity Adjusting and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (C.C.E.P.). Although not yet recognized by the State of Florida, this extremity certification makes him one of only 900 chiropractic extremity professionals worldwide and 1 of only 8 in Florida.
With certifications as a chiropractic sports physician, extremity doctor, and tennis professional through the United States Professional Tennis Association, Dr. Nevel fully understands the causes of sports injuries, and the treatments needed and has a track record of obtaining optimal results.
